Cohort note: Regional Concentrations are planned as formal requirements from AY2027–28. Students admitted in AY2026–27 are expected to use this pathway on a transitional basis; earlier cohorts remain under their existing curriculum.
Foundational courses
GLAS1003 · Europe in the World
Region in the World courses introduce historical trajectories, social and cultural contexts, political developments and the region’s interactions with the wider world. Under the revised curriculum, they also provide early exposure to basic research design.
