Martín Juaristi Garamendi joined HKU in 2013 after teaching Spanish in Mainland China. His teaching and curriculum work draw strongly on visual communication, graphic resources, literature and comics, and he is also an accredited DELE examiner.

Research Interests

Spanish language teaching in Chinese-speaking contexts; teaching materials; graphic resources and comics; Hispanic cultural and popular-culture studies.
