Profile

Tonja Fung has taught German at HKU since 1995 across core language, elective and capstone courses. She has also built relationships with universities in German-speaking Europe and developed opportunities for summer study, exchange, scholarships and internships.

Research Interests

German cinema; gender in German advertising; third-language acquisition; influence of English and Cantonese on learners of German.
